The pandemic undoubtedly affected our experience of the worshiping community.  We have had to "make church" in a new way, incorporating things like online services, physical distancing, and numerical restrictions.  Yet, this has also shone a light on the importance of community for our spiritual lives. We long to be together. We desire to share prayer and worship with fellow Christians. In this course we will explore why Jesus calls us into community?  Why does the church matter?  How might the discipline of community help us go deeper in our faith?

The course will explore topics such as:

  • The Call to Fellowship and Community
  • What does it mean to worship together?
  • Praying as a community in lament and praise
  • Meditating on Scripture
  • Blessing others and being blessed
  • A community of open hearts and open doors.
