Spiritual formation is a lifelong journey of becoming
more attentive to God and more responsive to God’s presence and invitation in
our lives.
At Renovaré Canada, we believe this journey is best lived
in the company of others. We create small, unhurried, relational spaces where
people can slow down, ask questions, explore spiritual practices, and discover
what it means to live with God in the midst of ordinary life.
Find a place to begin
There are different ways to make space for your life with
God. Each offers a different rhythm, depth, and kind of companionship.
Consumed
For a sustained journey
Consumed is a three-year journey of spiritual formation
shared with a small cohort and facilitator.
Through reading, reflection, conversation, spiritual
practices, and periods of retreat, participants explore Scripture, the
Christian tradition, and the way of Jesus. The journey invites both learning
and living—allowing what we discover to become part of how we actually live.
Consumed asks for a significant commitment of time and
attention. It is not simply a course of study, but a sustained journey of
formation lived in community.
3 years · Small cohort · Weekly online
meetings · Two retreat weekends each year
Our Renewal Journeys bring people together online in
small groups for twelve weeks of devotional reading, reflection, conversation,
and live weekly gatherings. Each twelve-week journey explores a particular
dimension of life with God: Learning Love, a journey into the heart of
God; Learning to Rest, a journey into the gift of Sabbath; Learning
to See, a journey into Jubilee.
Spiritual mentoring offers an opportunity to walk
one-to-one with a spiritual mentor over an eight-month journey.
Through conversation, reflection, selected resources, and
practices for daily life, you are invited to pay attention to what is happening
within you and to where God may be inviting you.
The journey includes sixteen sessions, a personality
assessment, and the development of a Rule of Life.
8 months · One-to-one · 16 sessions · Rule of
Life
Not every season calls for a long-term commitment or an
ongoing group. Sometimes we simply want to explore an idea, encounter a new
perspective, or share a good conversation around a book.
